Finally our 1st semester exam ended!! I passed my OSCE (practical exam), bt not sure wat i scored.. Thz God for His greatness!! Our OSCE is really nitemare for us, we got quaratine for 2 days. I waited for an hour more for my turn and our dis exam only last for 5 minutes!! 1st time had my OSCE was really shivering for me.. Once i enter into ward, my examiner dat who evaluate me was so fierce, bt my patient was good!! I really so panick till my hand start to getar.. I even became clumsy when come to fix the BP set and cuff it on patients. Dat examiner sure can see my nervousness within me!! Till e moment, when i need to wear stethoscope, my hand shaked and i can hear my own heartbeat thru it rather den patient's brachial pulse!! Lastly, i did manage to take her BP.. I faster unfix everything as normal and start to do my documenting. Sadly, i still left one line to draw, d bell rang and examiner called me to go out.. Sob..

Day 2 is our last day of our practical exam. This time, i not dat nervous as before, cz i know how it goes and wat i need to do.. I entered into ward, my examiner is a malay and my patient is malay guy!! OH MY!! How am i going to carry him?? I went in and do a short intro to patient and examiner and start to do my practical. Thk God dat patient did help me little such as moving by himself, gv me some hints dat i did wrong.. Hehe.. Thz thz!!

Merdeka for all my frenz ya!! Anxious about out result den.We went for movie, "Princess n e Frog".. 6 of us college student went into theatre, and all we saw was children with paretns..haha.. Pai seh..

Sweet & Sour Taste of experiences

Bck frm Indonesia one week ago. Is definetly an awesome trip for my family & I.. Not much things to buy tho. But is most wonderful when we can spent time meeting v our uncles, aunt etc after years.. The last time I visited them was when im still in my childhood time!! Noo..perhaps when im still got carried by my mum. N my youngest sis not born yet.. Is really exhausted for me, cz i still nit to rush bck to hostel once i arrived kl.. Hopefullly to upload more pics..

N ya.. Belated 21st celebration for my sis v our high school frenz (my seniors).. Firstly, they came to our house with suprise.. Wei Li actually made an icecreame biscuit cake!! Is delicious!!We went to Marche for dinner n fellowship. B'thday girl (which is my sis) was force to be a princess for dat day. They bought her a crown and a princess stick.. Haha.. We went for laundry bar too..

Finally, my training has over!! Bt, final is coming in 2 weeks time.. There's no study break for us. Bt there's Revision week for us, where all of us nit to go bck college and lecturer will give us some tips.. Bt according to other coursemates said dat, all d tips they had are not accurate at all.. Sigh.. Study all is e safe!! All other coursemate is having their holiday nw, bt why not for us??!! We cant have any holidays at all, even our final ends.. Sigh..

My training experienced was really a not-dat-good experience.. Bt it helps me to learn more lessons.. World is evil and cruel all can i say.. Haha.. XO..

This week, i went to several patient's house with staff nurse (Kak Ida).. All of them consist of stroke sickness. They barely can move, hardly to talk. All the time, they jst lied on the bed. Due to long term lying, their lower limb has injuries.

We helped them to do sponging, BO, changing shirt, changing Ryle's tube, dressing etc.. Is my 1st time to help old folks to do sponging, make sure their shit is out n others. We measured their vital sign and record it down. Some host gave us some biscuits to eat.. How well treated frm them.. Hehe.. O ya, mentioning about those patient. First impression of me was how pity are they, they nit lots of love n supports frm their family and health care team.. I can see hw Kak Ida communicate with them verbally and non-verbally. Even tho those patients have stroke, bt they can understand wat r u trying to convey msg to them. Those patient will reply u bck by non verbal msg. Great??

Is my 1st time started to help patient's do sponging. Their skin is so lembik, they cant even sit well. Nit to be support at their bck or hips.. Failure to do so, they can jst slip frm wheel chair to floor easily.. We even nit to help them korek berak, wash their private part. They even make the cried sound, when they know is time to go for bath. They pinch us when we helped them to change Ryle's tube (allow food and drinks to go), bcz is paining when we changed for them.
Can u imagine dat Kak Ida same body size as me, she can carry those heavy patient!! I get some technique frm her,and she did teach me how to carry too. I also learnt hw to do exercises for stroke patient. We nit to exercise them to provide strength for them and allow them to move, blood flow easily.

After one whole day till evening of going around doing several patients, my body is aching. Nit to use body mechanism tho..

Next few days, i went to a patient house to observe hw nurse manager withdraw patient's blood.

1st week of training

I had my 1st week & also my 1st time of my practical training..
It's really boring for 1st week,
All we had to do is jst sit at office and watch tv, chatting, taking nap, read books..
Is exhausted if we get afternoon shift.

Partially,is our job to have both shift (morning/afternoon)
Our manager is a German man,
He saw me & Devi can speak fluent english wif each other,
So, he actually called us and discuss wif us about syllabus etc.
Random chit chat.
Both of us, keep limit v him cz he a bit Gatal toward his colleagues.

I got a patient dat has many sickness..
I really pity dat patient..
Cz he has lots of bruises and wounds over his hand and legs
His very weak, so he nits many help frm us
We reallly nit to have an eye on him,
Bt, his friendly to us..

Fortunately, we have lots of activity starting next week.
All 8 of us (classmates)will be able to go around visiting patient wif dat manager
We even got e chance to go rounding we other CI (clinical instructor)..
So dat can help us in our assign and practical marks..
